Lord Christo wrote this Calypso classic about harsh treatment of tenants by landlords. As well as giving rise to Notting Hill's 'Carnival', this imbalanced relationship is currently changing the face and future of London, so seemed apt to sing the original lyrics. Except I can't understand them on recordings or find them online, so I just sort of fluff an improvised rendition.
